If you’re looking to publish your own Roblox game then you will want to change your game thumbnail. While this may sound tricky at first, the process if fairly easy. However, you will need to use the Roblox creator hub website to upload a Roblox game thumbnail.
1. Go to the Roblox Creator Hub and sign in if you aren’t already.
2. Select Creations from the side menu.
3. Select the game you want to add the thumbnail to.
4. Go to the side menu and select Places.
5. Choose a place to upload the thumbnail to.
6. Select Thumbnails from the side.
7. Choose a media type for your thumbnail, typically image.
8. Click the Upload image button.
9. Locate and select your game thumbnail.
10. Click the Open button.
11. Select Submit.
12. Click the Save Changes button.
How to Add a Video to Your Roblox Game
You can add a video to your Roblox game using the same method as uploading a thumbnail. However, you will need to select the video media option. If you want to add a video to your Roblox game then you will need to pay 500 Robux. Fortinately, you can easily add Robux to your account either by purchasing them from the website, or by using a gift card. Alternatively, you can add multiple image thumbnails to your game for free.
How to Add Multiple Roblox Thumbnails to Your Game
Although you can only upload one thumbnail to your game at a time, you can repeat the process to add multiple images. This allows you to have a slide of different images on your game’s information page. By uploading multiple thumbnails you can provide better insight as to what your game is.
How to Reorder Roblox Thumbnail Images
If your Roblox game has multiple thumbnails then you can reorder them to your liking. To do this you will need to access the thumbnails page for your experience. Towards the bottom of the page you will see all of your game thumbnails. You can reorder the thumbnails by clicking and dragging the two line icons to the right of each image. The images will display from top to bottom. Meaning, the top image will be shown first, followed by the thumbnail directly below it.
How to Delete a Roblox Game Thumbnail
Whether you’ve just updated your Roblox experience, or just want to try something new, you may want to delete a game thumbnail. Fortunately, this process can be done pretty easily. When on the game’s thumbnail page you will see all of your game’s thumbnails. Additionally, there is a bin icon found on the right of each thumbnail which can be used to delete the thumbnail image. However, once selected you will need to confirm that you want to remove the thumbnail by clicking the Delete button.
Roblox Game Thumbnail Isn’t Changing
Whenever you upload a thumbnail to your Roblox game it will undergo a moderation process. Because of this, it may take a few minutes for your game’s thumbnail to update. Instead, you will need to wait a few minutes and refresh the page. However, if you forgot to save changes then you will need to upload the thumbnail again.
