Valorant now allows you to set custom crosshair colors. This update comes in addition to more crosshair settings, allowing for even more customization. With so many crosshair colors to choose from you might be having trouble finding the best color for you.
How to Use a Custom Crosshair Color in Valorant
- Open the Valorant settings.
- Go to Crosshair, then primary.
- Select the color menu and choose custom.
- Enter a color code.
- Press enter to confirm.
Aqua
An aqua crosshair is a great alternative to cyan and green. Aqua looks great on most crosshair designs and is easily visible with and without outlines.

Pink
Pink is another great vibrant option. The rich color makes it stand out on most textures and maps. However, on some smaller crosshairs you may find the color looks odd. If you’re using a crosshair that works with outlines then this can fix visual issues.

Blue
A standard blue crosshair looks great on clips and stands out fairly well. Unfortunately, the blue can get lost on some maps like Icebox. In our experience, blue looks the best on small crosshairs.

Purple
Purple is a good crosshair color that has a lot of versatility. A vibrant purple looks nice on crosshairs of all sizes. Depending on your monitor and color settings the crosshair may look more pink than purple.

Light Pink
Using a light pink color is a great alternative for a white crosshair. However, depending on the shade you may find the color hard to see in some scenarios. Turning on outlines will fix this issue and make the crosshair stand out.

Black
In the past you would have to work some trickery with outlines to get a black crosshair. Now, you can simply change the color code. Fortunately, a black crosshair looks great in almost all situations as it stands out on floors, walls, and objects. Unfortunately, there are some darker areas and surfaces that can be an issue.

Light Green
Players who like white crosshairs should find joy with a light green crosshair. You may run into issues when playing Viper, however, an outline will fix that.

Cream
Although a cream crosshair can blend in with some of the surrounding textures, it’s still worth a mention. A nice cream color can add some character to an otherwise white crosshair.

Dark Red
The standard red color crosshair has typically been used by players that prefer darker crosshairs. Fortunately, a darker red can now be used. The dark red is an excellent alternative to black, making it a little easier to see in some situations. When using a dark red crosshair you may want to play with the opacity options to find something that isn’t too harsh.

Light Blue
Although a light blue crosshair won’t be easily visible on some maps, it does look clean with an outline. If you’re a fan of the popular four line crosshair then light blue may be a perfect fit. The light blue color also looks great on clips and stream.

Dark Purple
A dark purple crosshair is easily visible on most backgrounds as purple isn’t a color you commonly run into. Keep in mind that you may find the crosshair a little difficult to see when flashed by Reyna.

Orange
Finally, an orange crosshair is also a viable crosshair color. Orange can blend into some walls making it difficult to see. For some maps you will want to enable outlines so you can see your crosshair clearly.

Final Thoughts
With different map, texture, and ability colors you will have to be careful with your crosshair color selection. To find the best option you may want to test out different color codes to find what you like most. If you’re someone that switches between crosshairs then you may find it’s not a one color fits all situation. Using different colors on different crosshairs may be the best bet. Altertnatively, if you have a favorite crosshair then you can duplicate the profile with different color settings.
