Enable Dark Mode on Discord
More and more websites, applications and programs are offering a dark mode theme as an addition to their default display theme due to the sheer popularity of the look.
You can even select to use dark mode within the Windows settings itself, which will change the appearance of your file explorer as well as give the bars on programs a darker appearance. However for users of Discord there is already a way to switch to the program to this much loved theme.
When you have the Discord program opened and are signed in you will see a cog icon displayed near the bottom left hand corner of the window, this is where you can access and modify all the settings available in Discord.
1. Sign into Discord.
2. Press the Settings icon located towards the bottom left of your Discord window, it should look like a cog.
3. Select “Appearance” from the menu on the left.
4. Under the “Theme” headline you will have the choice between Light and Dark, select the one you want.
6. You have now enabled dark mode on Discord.

How to Turn on Push to Mute and Keybinds on Discord
When playing and streaming or having an unexpected guest enter your room you may want to be able to quickly mute your mic during intense gameplay with ease, to do this Discord has added a bunch of selectable keybinds which can greatly improve your overall experience with the program and even save time and hassle.
If you have a keyboard or device with macro keys then you can further extend how easy this system works by using the macros to simulate the keybind selection of your choice.
1. Open the Discord settings.
2. Go to the Keybinds heading on the menu located to the left of the app.
3. Choose to add a new keybind.
4. Select an action from the drop down menu.
5. Select “Push to Mute” or another option of your choice.
6. Choose to record keybind found just to the right of the Action selection area.
7. Press your keybind command of choice, you may want to use a ctrl + numpad number or something complex if you have access to macro keys so you don’t accidentally press it during normal use or gaming.
8. If you are using a macro then you will need to assign this keybind to your macro key as well.
