You can download Roblox from the official Roblox website in one of two ways. The first and most common method is to try to play an experience. By doing so you will be prompted to download the Roblox installer to your PC or laptop. Alternatively, you can go straight to the Roblox download page to get the installer.
1. Go to the Roblox website and sign in.
2. Select an Experience, any will work.
3. Click the Play button.
4. Click the Download and Install Roblox button then wait for the installer to download.
5. Open the folder the installer saved to.
6. Double-click on the Roblox installer file to run it.
7. Click Yes if asked to allow changes to be made and click Run if prompted.
8. Wait for Roblox to install.
9. Sign in to your Roblox account.
How to Play Roblox on PC and Laptop
You can play Roblox by hovering your cursor over an experience and clicking the play button. On the home page of the Roblox application you will see numerous experiences that you can play. However, you can also use the search bar to find a specific experience if you have one in mind.
Can’t Find the Roblox Installer
If you can’t find where the Roblox installer saved to on your PC then there is a few options. Unless changed, the default download location is typically the Downloads folder on your PC. Alternatively, you can select the download button in your browser and choose to open the file location. Doing this will open the folder that the Roblox installer was downloaded to.
Can’t Play Roblox Experience
In some cases you may be unable to play certain Roblox experiences due to your age or privacy settings. If your account has an age restriction then you will only be able to play games that are suitable to the age set on your Roblox account. Additionally, if account restrictions are enabled then you will only be able to play Roblox experiences that are appropriate for all audiences. Fortunately, you can change these settings.
Download Roblox on Microsoft Store
Another option is to download Roblox on your PC or laptop through the Microsoft Store. You can find the Microsoft Store by opening the Windows start menu and searching for it.
1. Open the Start menu.
2. Search for Microsoft Store, then open it.
3. Search for Roblox then select it.
4. Click the Get button then wait for Roblox to install.
