How to Get Voice Chat on Roblox Mobile Without ID

If you’re looking to get voice chat on Roblox mobile then you will either need to verify your phone number or verify your ID. Fortunately, the ability to get voice chat without ID has become more available over the past few months with the addition of phone number verification. However, this option is only available in some countries. Although, the supported countries has been updated multiple times to add more locations. Additionally, your account will need to be 13+ to get voice chat.

1. Select More from the bottom, then open the Settings.

2. Select the Account Info option.

3. Tap on the Add Phone button.

4. Use the number box to select your area code.

5. Enter your phone number into the box then tap Continue.

6. Enter the verification code that was sent to your phone into the provided box.

7. Choose if you want to let friends find you using your phone number, then tap Done.

8. Tap on the Cross, then select Privacy & Content Maturity.

9. Select Communication, then Voice Chat.

10. Turn on the Enable Microphone option, then tap Enable.

How to Enable Voice Chat in Game

Once you have enabled voice chat, you will need to set up your game settings to be able to use voice chat correctly. First, you will want to unmute your microphone by tapping the microphone icon in the top left of Roblox. If the icon has a slash through it then your microphone is muted.

Additionally, you will want to open your game settings and make sure your output and input device are set correctly. On mobile they will typically be set to core output device, however if you have other devices connected then you may need to choose your specific device. Your input device is your microphone, while your output device is your headset or speakers.

Unable to Access Microphone Message

To use voice chat the Roblox application must have permission to use your microphone. As you have only just enabled voice chat it is likely that Roblox does not have the necessary permission. Fortunately, this can be fixed by going to the app settings on your mobile device and enabling the microphone permission for Roblox.
