How to See Enemies Better in Black Ops 6

In this video I show you how to see enemies better in Black Ops 6. Fortunately, there are a number of ways that you can improve visibility in BO6. One of the best methods is to customize the Black Ops 6 color settings. You can do this through the Color Customization settings in the game.

  1. Change Color Filter Settings
  2. Change Enemy Color
  3. Change Field of View
  4. Turn Off Motion Blur
  5. Turn Off Depth of Field
  6. Use Tracker Perk
  7. Set Camera Movement to Least
  8. Adjust TV or Monitor Settings
  9. Change NVIDIA Color Settings
  10. Use NVIDIA Game Filters
  11. Use a Square Mini map

Change Color Filter Settings

One of the more effective methods to make enemies easier to see is to change the Black Ops 6 color filter settings. You can find the settings by going to the Interface options and switching to the Readability tab. Once here you will need to open the Color Customization settings to see the filter options.

For most people, using color filter 2 will work best. This filter makes the game look more vibrant and adds a nice color filter to the game.

Change Enemy Color

When it comes to enemy color there are 2 primary colors you will want to use, red and yellow. This is because red and yellow are typically easier to see and notice. However, you can use another vibrant color if you prefer. Additionally, you will need to increase the saturation and brightness to the maximum to ensure the enemies are easier to see.

Change Field of View

In Call of Duty the field of view controls how zoomed in or out your camera is. The higher your FOV the more zoomed out your view will be. Although a higher FOV allows you to see to your sides better, enemies at a distance will appear smaller and harder to see. Because of this, it’s often preferred not to max out the field of view. Instead, you will want to reduce the field of view. Typically, a FOV of about 110 or 115 is recommended. However, you can of course lower it further if you wish.

Turn Off Motion Blur

There are two types of motion blur in Black Ops 6, weapon and world. Both motion blurs can impede your ability to see enemies. Fortunately, you can turn off weapon and world motion blur from the XXXXXX

Turn Off Depth of Field

Another setting that can impact your visibility is depth of field. With depth of field turned on distant objects become blurred. Because of this, you will want to turn off depth of field to ensure that vision is clear at all distances.

Use Tracker Perk

If you’re looking for something in game to help you see enemies better, then the tracker perk is a good option. With the tracker perk you can see recent enemy footsteps. This allows you to follow where a player has gone. Additionally, if you aim at an enemy they will automatically be pinged. When enemies are pinged they are easier to see and track around the map.

Set Camera Movement to Least

Another useful tip is to set camera movement to least. Doing so will ensure your visuals move as little as possible. Although this might not help you see enemies directly, it can help in intense moments, especially when tracking an enemy.

Adjust TV or Monitor Settings

Whether you’re playing on a TV or monitor it’s likely that there are some settings you can make use of. Many TVs and monitors have color settings which you can adjust to make enemies easier to see. Typically, you will want to increase vibrance and saturation settings if available.

Additionally, if your screen has brightness, contrast or gamma settings then it may be worthwhile adjusting them slightly. However, you will want to be careful as to not make it harder to see. I recommend going into a custom game to adjust your settings. The main goal is to adjust the brightness, contrast, and gamma settings slightly to make it easier to see in shadowed areas.

Change NVIDIA Color Settings

If you’re  playing on a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card you can make use of the NVIDIA color settings. These settings can be found in the NVIDIA control panel which can be opened from your desktop.

With the NVIDIA color settings you can adjust your screen’s brightness, contrast, gamma, digital vibrance, and hue.. However, you won’t typically want to touch the hue setting. Ideally, you will want to increase the digital vibrance and change the other settings slightly. However, you can also leave them as default. A useful tip is to take screenshots when you play Black Ops 6, then have them open while you adjust the NVIDIA color settings.

Use NVIDIA Game Filters

Another option is to use NVIDIA game filters. However, this isn’t the best method as it can result in increase input lag. Although, it is one of the more effective methods to make enemies easier to see in Black Ops 6.

With NVIDIA game filters you get a great range of control over what your game looks like. This being due to your ability to adjust the settings to your liking, and choose what filters you add to your game. Although there isn’t a one size fits all option, we have created our own NVIDIA filters for Black Ops 6.

Use a Square Mini Map

Although it may seem trivial, using a square minimap is ideal when it comes to awareness. A square minimap has a larger surface area, allowing you to see more around you. Enemies can appear on the radar when a UAV is active, or if they fire an unsilenced weapon. Due to this being able to see them on the minimap is important.
