You can fix the unable to access microphone error on Roblox by going to your settings and allowing the Roblox app to use your microphone. If the microphone option is turned off then Roblox voice chat won’t work properly. Fortunately, this setting can be changed easily.
1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll to the bottom and select Apps.

3. Select Roblox.

4. Turn on the Microphone option.

5. Close and reopen the Roblox app.
Microphone Access Already Enabled
If the option to give microphone access to Roblox is already enabled then you will need to turn it off and back on. Additionally, you will need to close and reopen Roblox to ensure the change of setting is applied. For iPad and iPhone you will need to swipe up from the bottom of your screen, then swipe up on Roblox to close the app.
Roblox Voice Chat Still Not Working
In some cases Roblox voice chat might still not be working even after microphone access has been enabled. There are several reasons why this may happen, however, none of these will result in the “Unable to Access Microphone” error message. Before looking at other solutions you will want to ensure that the Roblox game you’re attempting to play does support voice chat. Additionally, voice chat isn’t automatically given to every Roblox user, instead, you can get voice chat by either adding your phone number (in supported countries) or by verifying your identity.
Why Isn’t My Mic Working on Roblox Mobile?
If your mic isn’t working on Roblox then it may be because Roblox doesn’t have permission to use your microphone. However, it could also be because your phone or tablet believes another microphone is connected. In some cases you may be connected to a Bluetooth device, or have recently used wired headphones with a microphone. To fix the issue you will want to disconnect from any Bluetooth device that may have a microphone. Alternatively, you can also try connecting wired headphones and disconnecting it again to solve the issue.
