Warzone Mobile allows you to play with a controller. It even includes a default HUD preset for controller, where the on-screen buttons are hidden. This makes it easier to quickly set up your game to play with the controller, without manually removing buttons. Additionally, you can use both Xbox and Playstation controllers to play Warzone Mobile.
1. Open your mobile device settings & open the Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn on your controller.
3. Click Pair on your phone.
4. Open Warzone Mobile & click the gear icon.
5. Select Controls.
6. Tap on Controls Sets.
7. Select the Default Controller HUD Preset, then tap Use.
Can’t Pair Controller to Phone or Tablet
If you aren’t getting the message to pair your controller on your phone, then you may need to select the controller from the devices list. Alternatively, you may need to put your controller into pairing mode.
You can put an Xbox controller into pairing mode by holding down the sync button on the controller. The sync button is found on the top of the controller on the left-hand side.
If you are using a PS4 or PS5 controller then you will need to hold down the PS button found in the middle of the controller with the share or create button. The share and create buttons are found on the upper-left side near the directional pad.
Xbox Controller Not Pairing
In cases where your Xbox controller won’t enter pairing mode then you may need to hold down the Home and Sync button at the same time. Additionally, not all Xbox controllers are Bluetooth compatible. However, this is typically older Xbox One controllers.
Is Warzone Mobile Worth Playing with Controller
You’re typically best playing Warzone Mobile with whatever you find more comfortable. If you usually play games with a controller then you’ll probably find it easier to use a controller for Warzone Mobile. However, you’ll quickly notice that a lot of the options found on console and PC versions of Call of Duty are missing. Additionally, using a controller on Warzone Mobile will feel different than playing Warzone on another platform.
Does Warzone Mobile Match Controller Players?
Whether you’re using your touch screen or a controller, you will be placed in the same games. This means that all players play against each other in the same lobby. Because of this, you will want to use whichever input you feel most comfortable with.
