You can add soundboard sounds to Discord through the soundboard server settings. When adding a sound you can make adjustments to the start and end point to ensure the soundboard sounds exactly how you want it. Additionally, you can change the volume of the sound using the provided slider so it’s not as loud. Trimming your sound allows you to take samples from a recording to use, without using any editing software.
1. Click the Server Title and open the Server Settings.
2. Select Soundboard from the side.
3. Click the Upload Sound button.
4. Select Browse.
5. Find and open the sound file you want to use.
6. Edit the sound in and end points by dragging them.
7. Give the sound a Name.
8. Add a related emoji.
9. Adjust the sound volume using the slider.
10. Click Upload.
How to Edit Soundboard Sounds on Discord
Soundboard sounds can be edited from the server soundboard settings page. Once here you will see all of your server sounds in one place. Hovering over a sound will reveal a pencil icon. Selecting the pencil icon allows you to edit the sound name, related emoji, and volume. Additionally, you can also change the sound file or re-add the same file to adjust the duration.
How to Delete Soundboard Sounds on Discord
You can delete a Discord soundboard sound by hovering over the sound and clicking the cross icon. Once selected you will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the sound. It is important to know that once a sound has been deleted it can’t be restored. Instead, you will need to add the sound again.
